Bongosys is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Manager. The SQA is responsible for leading, planning, directing, coordinating, and managing the quality processes, strategies, and quality resources for the organization. The SQA will work with the software development team and business owners to create and implement quality assurance plans, test cases, and provide guidance on bug identification and resolution. This person will lead direct reports and teams to support the quality of our existing applications as well as new development of Microsoft .net applications while also being hands on.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality assurance plans for software development, including automated, manual and integration testing strategies.
Track software bug trends and provide feedback to software development team.
Audit software products to ensure quality and reliability.
Maintain and update quality assurance standards.
Create and maintain test plans and procedures for software development.
Perform functional, integration, and regression testing and then monitor and review the test results.
Analyze customer feedback and provide recommendations for improvement.
Develop and deliver software quality assurance reports to senior management.
Evaluate and execute testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards.
Train software development and QA team on quality assurance standards and procedures
Work with business owners, stakeholders to define, write, review and revise product requirements and specifications and help translation of business requirements into test plans.
Design and implement defect reduction programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
Programming and SQL experience
Automation frameworks experience (example: Selenium)
Load and performance testing experience
Strong experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
Proficiency working with test management & defect management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps preferred.
Deep understanding of unit/system/integration testing, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
